A PARENT SUPPORT NETWORK TO HELP ASH + the girls during covid-19

Hi Everyone,

My name is Cathy and I have Jesse and Tanner, both currently at Anchorage ELC.
As I have my own small business and my husband is in the Police Force, we are still working and therefore needing the support of Anchorage.

I wanted to start a parent network outside the centre, so we can support the girls and Ash in what is a difficult time for everyone.
Being a small business, Ash herself has taken a hit with this too, and the girls are on reduced hours, yet still remaining positive and passionate about what they do.

As working parents, and with the government covering the costs of daycare during this pandemic, I wanted to give back a small amount to the girls supporting us being able to still work, so I’m starting a fundraising pot which will do a number of things:

• A coffee fund, so the girls can go to the local Grayzing Point, for a coffee run

• A lunch on us once a week where I will get uber eats to treat the girls.

• Essential items for the centre

• Contribution to costs for activities for kids still attending

A VERY IMPORTANT note: I know times are tough for everyone so please know this is not expected!

This is just a suggestion for those parents that are still using the centre so we can support the girls supporting us.
